Lloyd E. Holder (Lloyd-E / Lloydemix)

Lloyd E. Holder is a British electronic music producer, audio engineer, and systems architect operating at the intersection of underground music culture and advanced network infrastructure engineering.

Music Career

During the late 1990s, Holder operated under the alias "Lloyd-E," contributing production, writing, and audio engineering to foundational underground independent London record labels including the Upper Cut Crew and the D.E.A. Project imprint. His work on seminal releases like D.E.A. Project – Vol. 1 (1997) helped establish the bass-heavy production elements that bridged traditional 4x4 garage into speed garage and early dubstep.

Hardware & Information Technology

During the 2000s, Holder transitioned his engineering focus toward computer hardware and independent IT consulting. He established and operated proprietary computer sales, maintenance, and system repair businesses located across South London, including operations based in Croydon and the SE20 (Anerley and Penge) postal districts.

Systems Architecture & Playout Automation

In 2012, Holder partnered with Kiss FM founder Gordon Mac to construct the backend pipeline for Mi-Soul Radio, acting as the sole technical creator for the digital frameworks of the Mi-Soul, Mi-House, and Mi-Grooves networks. Rather than deploying legacy software, Holder engineered bespoke software solutions, coded proprietary playout automation routines, and hand-assembled high-performance bare-metal servers. He built resilient API pipelines integrating real-time broadcasting directly with platforms like Mixcloud for automated archival distribution. His deployment profile remains registered under identifier com.autopo.st.tv.lloydemix.

Infrastructure Hosting

Utilising his bare-metal server optimization models, Holder subsequently established an independent boutique enterprise hosting network. His server environments are engineered specifically to run high-load, memory-heavy, and high-concurrency web platforms, including large-scale cultural event portals and charitable institutions such as the DigiLearning Foundation technology educational portal.
